Marbella is a gated community in San Juan Capistrano, California which sits inside the outer edge of the Marbella Country Club & Golf Course. Residents enjoy spectacular views of the golf course, and surrounding mountain ranges.
Marbella is comprised of 250 custom homes. The Marbella Estates Custom subdivision has 30 homes which were built by Richard Grant. These floor plans have three to four bedrooms, two to four baths, and living space that ranges from 2,700 to 3,890 square feet. Other tracts include the Marbella Crest Estates, and the Golf Villas. This neighborhood offers all the amenities of country club living. The championship golf course was designed by Jay Morrish, and Tom Weiskopf. The facility includes a practice bunker, driving range, and putting green. The club features a junior Olympic sized pool, clubhouse, six lighted tennis courts, and a fitness center. There are also facilities for dining, weddings, and other special events.
The award winning Capistrano Unified School District serves this area with highly ranked facilities like Marcos Forster Middle School, and San Juan High School. There are also several private schools in this city including Serra Catholic High School, and Saddleback Valley Christian School. Mission Parish School is located next to the Mission grounds and uses some of the historic buildings for classrooms.
Residents are within minutes to major freeways, beaches, stores, and restaurants. There are several shopping centers in this area like the Plaza Del Obispo Shopping Center, Plaza Del Rio Shopping Center, The Shops at Mission Viejo, and Marbella Plaza.
San Juan Capistrano is famous for its Mission which was founded in 1776 as well as the famous San Juan Mission Swallows that once migrated from Argentina. This city has the largest variety of real estate in Orange County with a mixture of historic houses, working ranches, and million dollar estates.
